Death, Life, and Advertising

Capstone project by Joseph Galbo – Death, Life and Advertising is a short documentary film that explores how technology has changed the  advertising industry from its golden years in the 1960s until today. The story follows the young advertising career of the filmmaker as he explores his family’s past in advertising and compares it to his own experiences. The film features interviews from three creatives working at McCann Regan Campbell Ward, one of the few pharmaceutical advertising agencies in the McCann Health network. Kurt Fried is (insert brief bio). Dan Hassan is (insert brief bio). Brendan Ward is (insert brief bio). All have extensive authoritative experience working in the print realm of adverting and have been tasked with making the agency “more digital”. As we will learn, digital advertising does not come easy as the old dogs have to learn many new tricks.
